AquaVoltaic is a commentary on the commercial use and abuse of water, and a satire of globalisation and popular media. After buying a consignment of water from a shady Nigerian in Sierra Leone, quixotic Afro-Caribbean ‘businessman’ John Jay-Jay Joseph attempts to smuggle his booty through London and Essex to Outback Australia, where he intends to sell it to a mysterious Aboriginal tribe with magical realist ambitions.

Parsons product designers transform a campus gallery into a fine dining room where professors, alumni, and friends discuss global water issues and design solutions. The next day, the students repurpose the dining tables as work benches for a 24-hour design slam exploring water and infrastructure. Its another weekend at the School of Constructed Environments at Parsons, where building environments and building community go hand in hand.

Veden Taika (The Magic of Water) consists of three floating islands in Salo, Finland. The islands provide nesting habitat for birds and plant based filtration for improving water quality in the Salo Bird Pools, lagoons that were formerly used in the sewage treatment processes of the Salo Municipal Sewage Treatment Facility. Because an abundance of migrating and nesting birds now use the lagoons, the pools have been established as an EU-directive conservation site. The birds need nesting areas separated from surrounding land to protect the eggs and young birds from predators.
In 2003-2004 the City of West Palm Beach redesigned its premier park, 130 acre Dreher Park, to improve stormwater capacity and enhance recreation areas. Artist team Jackie Brookner and Angelo Ciotti were commissioned to work on art concepts throughout the park and be part of the Design Team.

We work on the front lines to provide access to clean water through the distribution of portable water filters, the digging and renovating of wells, and the construction of rainwater harvesting and storing systems in places where groundwater is not accessible.
"The Blue Iceberg" project was created as a part of the "H2O Emergencias" workshop at Complutense University in Madrid, Spain. It was inspired by the GLACKMA project and the blue colour of glaciers.
We were treating the water issues through painting with colored ice cubes. Basically we wanted to reduce the intervention on the painting by hands to a minimum. We decided to leave the ice on the paper to melt and create its own lines and ways.
