Water Canning
Part of the CURRENT:LA WATER public art biennial, Water Canning is a collective sculpture consisting of glass jars containing water from the region will set the stage for a water awareness workshop that includes instructions for creative tasks on the topic that participants can perform and upload to waterbodies.org.
In collaboration with the Art|Sci Collective, Dr. Olivia Osborne will present her research on how silver nanoparticles in c onsumer products end up in water bodies/rivers affecting the aqua tic environment.
Bird Song Diamond Mimic
What: BIRD SONG MIMIC – An Art/Science Collaboration Bi-coastal bird/human communication event.

At the Water Table | Parsons The New School for Design
Parsons product designers transform a campus gallery into a fine dining room where professors, alumni, and friends discuss global water issues and design solutions. The next day, the students repurpose the dining tables as work benches for a 24-hour design slam exploring water and infrastructure. Its another weekend at the School of Constructed Environments at Parsons, where building environments and building community go hand in hand.

Till Design was founded while making a collaborative drawing in 2001 on an asphalt parking lot surface with two friends. Using paint on rollers and completed over a six month period this drawing was an experiment into a shared question about the shape our body makes in movement, the marks we can make in movement and our perception of those marks in time. The experience of doing this drawing was similar to the act of tilling, that is clearing a ground in which to work, reflect and make a difference.
Earthscore
With Earthscore, we can compose different ways of living on Earth.
Earthscore is a notational system similar to musical scoring. Just as conductors use classical music notation to orchestrate various musical instruments into a symphony, so Earthscore orchestrates different electronic media into "symphonies of knowledge" that support living on Earth in sustainable ways. Earthscore also includes a formal approach to working collaboratively, a yoga of relationships called Threeing.

Drawing Water
Drawing Water is a constructed landscape shaped by the relationship between where water falls and where it is consumed within the United States. It builds images to expose the reality that water is channeled, pumped, and siphoned to locations far from where it falls. Although the paths are imagined, Drawing Water is based on real data and it reveals a clear truth about water resources and use.
