We invite you to become involved Agua Viva in a number of ways:

Prayer is always needed for the Lord to bring mature Christian role models for the children living at Agua Viva. Pray that the children will hear God's word, hide it in their hearts and put it into action and for funds to be able to provide for the children and increase the ministry in Guatemala.

Financial support is needed to maintain the daily level of care that Agua Viva has been so blessed to be able to provide the children. This typically comes in the form of the monthly child sponsorship's for the children. This is our number one need. Funds are also needed for construction of a new school building and future dormitories in order to provide Agua Viva with more ministry opportunities. Agua Viva assists families by providing a means for their children to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. By helping the children of Guatemala, Agua Viva is also helping the widows of Guatemala. If you would like to make a contribution, please visit our giving page.

Short Term Mission Teams come to Agua Viva to help with construction and the ongoing maintenance of the home. Visitation by dentists and medical people is encouraged, since this is usually the only means that the children are able to receive the care they need. These visits to Agua Viva also provide the environment for those on the teams to grow in their understanding of God's world and their relationship with Christ.

NEW! Teachers Needed
The Agua Viva School is developing a wonderful reputation in the surrounding community for a high quality Christian education. The parents who are sending their children to the Agua Viva School have expressed their satisfaction that the school offers computer and English classes. In order to obtain a higher-level job in Guatemala, it is necessary to have studied English and have computer knowledge.

Agua Viva is seeking teachers (or those with some teaching experience) interested in serving for 10 months (January–October) as an English and/or computer teacher for grades K-9th grade. Please contact Debbie Salisbury at or 919-801-6042 to discuss your interest.
