Earthscore

With Earthscore, we can compose different ways of living on Earth.

Earthscore is a notational system similar to musical scoring. Just as conductors use classical music notation to orchestrate various musical instruments into a symphony, so Earthscore orchestrates different electronic media into "symphonies of knowledge" that support living on Earth in sustainable ways. Earthscore also includes a formal approach to working collaboratively, a yoga of relationships called Threeing.

The Amazon River

Amazon river - empowered by the forest, humbled by its inhabitants...
This, my first photo essay about the Amazon, is all about the river, the forest and its inhabitants... these images try to convey the contrasts and diversities you can find at the very edge of civilized life... a few words help you feel the place.

Freedom of the Seas

The newly enhanced Freedom of the Seas® is a marvel of maritime engineering, packed with awesome innovations to stir your imagination. Share a high five with Shrek as part of The DreamWorks Experience. Catch a first-run movie in the 3D theater or poolside under the stars on the outdoor movie screen. Infuse color into your cruise with the artworks from our Art Gallery or with the frosted confections of the Cupcake Cupboard. And finish the evening with a selection of reds or whites at the renovated, now-more-intimate Vintages wine bar.

Fleet Water

The Fleet derives its name from the Saxon 'fleot', meaning shallow water.

The field recordings that make up this soundscape were recorded near to the village of Fleet that lies close to the lagoon of the same name. This area was made famous by the novel of smuggling by J. Meade Faulkner, "Moonfleet" published in 1898.

Salway Park is one of the pilot projects for the Mill Creek Greenway system in Cincinnati, Ohio. I worked with the Mill Creek Restoration Project and Human/Nature landscape architects in partnership with the Cincinnati Parks and Recreation Commissions and the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center to create Laughing Brook. This park, a series of playing fields serving lower income communities, is situated next to Mill Creek, one of North America’s most endangered rivers.

The Gift of Water

Biosculptures™ are living sculptures that use the capacity of carefully chosen plants to clean and filter water. Made of mosses, ferns and other plants growing on stone and concrete structures, they provide ecological and aesthetic solutions to water quality and water quantity problems.
